Getting started requires a one-time activation in the BAS-IP web portal to connect the hardware with Alarm.com. After that, day-to-day management happens entirely within the Alarm.com platform. Property managers can configure the tenant directory, assign and update access permissions, add or remove tenants, and monitor entry activity from the same interface they already use to manage their property.

For properties that also use Alarm.com for security or smart building management, everything is managed from a single platform. Yes. BAS-IP entrance panels include built-in readers that connect to Alarm.com door controllers over Wiegand and support compatible physical credentials. For single-door entrances, the relay built into the BAS-IP panel can unlock the door directly.
